Christians' Grave Mistake That Cost Peter Obi Presidential Election - Reno Omokri Reveals

A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has said that Christians must discard the approach they deployed in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections.

According to him, Christians must avoid the temptation of approaching elections the way and manner they went about this one.

Many electorates in the country believe that their votes did not count. There are allegations of massive rigging of the Saturday’s polls by some state governors.

But Omokri believes that approaching the election through religious lines did not help Christians, who according to him, turned out for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

According to the results read out by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, Tinubu polled a total of 8,794,726 to defeat his closest rivals and candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP who scored 6,984, 520 and 6,101,533 respectively.

The former Lagos State helmsman also fulfilled the 25 percent votes from 24 States as stipulated in the Electoral Act 2022 as amended.

“The Islamic vote was divided 3 ways amongst Atiku, Tinubu and Kwankwaso. The Christian vote was united behind Obi.

“Yet, look at the result! No matter the provocation, Christians must NEVER allow future elections to be about religion. It won’t serve us well!”

As if he voted for Peter Obi. Idiot. Forgetting that he was one of the Frontline enemies of Peter Obi. What didn't he do to demarket Obi ? God will punish you.

Why blame Reno Omokiri now. Why not blame Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Suleiman and Pastor Paul Eneche.
The latter two cane on to the pulpits to venormously campaign and crucify Tinubu. Simply because he chose another muslim......So what? Who cares about religion in politics? Politics is a game of wits and not how versed you're in your holy book.
Two of my friends. One in Abuja and Plateau confessed to me they were tutored to vote for Obi because he's a Christian. What nonsense. That's why Obi won in both Plateau and Abuja.
Is this election war against muslim or war against poverty in Nigeria?Huh? I'm a Christian but hate religious war. God doesn't preach hatred. If it'll take ten thousand Muslims to bring happiness and comfort back to the masses in Nigeria. Then let's get it on.
You're in the desert and needed water otherwise you'll die in 2 minutes if you don't get water. Suddenly,  a Babalawo (Ifa Priest)  emerge from nowhere with a bottle of water. Would you drink it or not?? Regardless if he had put some ifa incantations in the water or not. What balderdash!!!

My brothers, the truth is always bitter but some one must pick courage to say it as it is and he has done just that.
Religion is an individual thing between one and his God Almighty. But the way we apply it in this part of the globe, leaves more to be desired.
