Ify Aniebo was reacting to the video of the Chairman of the Lagos Parks Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, otherwise known as MC Oluomo, threatening Igbos ahead of the Lagos governorship election.

KanyiDaily recalls that MC Oluomo was caught on camera threatening Igbo who intends to vote for a party other than the All Progressives Congress (APC) to stay at home during the election on Saturday. Reacting to the video on her Twitter page, Ify Aniebo asked Governor Sanwo-Olu to call his thugs to order, stressing that this isn’t the first time MC Oluomo is issuing threats to people because he’s backed by the government. Ify Aniebo, whose husband is also contesting in the Lagos governorship election, called on the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, to do his job.

She tweeted: “This man can confidently threaten voters because he is state backed. This isn’t the first video of him threatening voters but somehow, he still has not been arrested. @jidesanwoolu call your thugs to order. This is a democracy not a dictatorship. @BenHundeyin do your job!”

Igbos are proudly who they are IGBOS. Law abiding in their places of abode but very astute in defense of their lives and businesses when threatened.   They never give in to intimidation . Especially when it comes from a cricket like MC Olu Omo ale. Let that bastard throw the first jab  tomorrow and he  will regret ever misrepresenting the very hospitable Yorubas

She's said it all, they should put a leash on this dog cos he's running out of control.  Tribalism in Nigeria is mostly fuelled by the yorubas, they're so inhospitable and easily threatened by someone different. Very insecure tribe!

Better pikin from Igboland. If GBADEBO loses tomorrow which i doubt ndigbo will close both first and second Niger bridges against the Yoruba men who  are rushing for our beautiful Igbo girls. Take your Lagos and leave our girls alone.

Angel you'd better not talk like that. If you're distinguishing and categorizing a tribe, should we now say other tribes are angels? If not for the perfect misunderstanding happening these days especially btw yorubas and igbos, should we now say yorubas aren't hospitable? Accommodating every tribes, and everyone is flourishing together in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo etc. Because a child is bad doesn't mean every children in that family are bad, and because a child is good doesn't mean every children in that family are good.
