This Is Treason, You’re Desperate – Lai Mohammed To Peter Obi Over Comments On 2023 Election

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has claimed that comments by Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi against the conduct of the 2023 presidential election is treasonable. Lai spoke in Washington DC during his official engagements with international media organisations. NAN reports that Mohammed has so far engaged with outlets like the Washington Post, Voice of America, Associated Press and Foreign Policy Magazine.

 
During one of the interactions, the minister said it was wrong for Obi to seek redress in court over the outcome of the polls and, in another breadth, incite people to violence. “Obi and his Vice, Datti Ahmed, cannot be threatening Nigerians that if the President-elect, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is sworn in on May 29, it will be the end of democracy in Nigeria. “This is treason. You cannot be inviting insurrection, and this is what they are doing. “Obi’s statement is that of a desperate person, he is not the democrat that he claimed to be “A democrat should not believe in democracy only when he wins the election,” Mohammed said.

APC should have warned Mr. Liar Mohamed to keep mute on anything concerning the election because the world already knows that whatever comes out of his mouth are lies. He just destroyed APC's build up.

Obi didn't even say such thing but only heard related statement from Mr. Datti LP Vice. APC minions are just looking for a way to nail Mr. Obi at all costs. Labor party and the Obedient Movement are here to stay and nothing can STOP us. Anyway, we are waiting for you PDAPC touts in power to do your worst by arresting Peter Obi - which might simply speed up the end of Nigeria democracy.
