With the summer transfer window fast approaching, there are going to be several players that are on the radar of Europe's top clubs. Small clubs will look to extract the biggest possible fees for their better players. While the biggest clubs, where money is no object, will look for any way to improve their squads. There are plenty of Nigerians plying their trade in Europe and here are three that might be on the move.

Victor Osimhen

The name on everybody’s lips as spring turns to summer. Osimhen has been a revelation at Napoli this season and a key figure in the club's title challenge in Serie A, which has attracted the attention of football fans across Africa, as well as the world as a whole.
Thanks to his goals Napoli is the bookmakers' favorite for the title, while Osimhen is the favorite to finish the season as Serie A's top goalscorer. His dominance is highlighted by the fact that second favorite Lautaro Martinez is priced at 15.00 in the online sports betting in Zambia. Having arrived in 2020 for a record £70 million, this summer he’ll likely move again for an even larger fee if this current form continues as there's likely to be a lot of suitors for his signature.

Kelechi Iheanacho

Since his arrival in England nearly a decade ago through the doors at Manchester City, Iheanacho has been a talent to look out for. Much has been expected of him both in England and Nigeria but it seems Iheanacho still hasn’t reached his potential. He left Manchester to find more first-team involvement at Leicester but has found chances here limited.

With relegation looming, mid-ranking clubs in the top five European leagues will be keeping close tabs on him, and his compatriot Wilfried Ndidi, previously one of the key men for Leicester City. Although things may change in the coming months, he has already been linked with Everton so the Blues may be a suitable destination for the player.

Alex Iwobi

The nephew of all-time great Jay Jay Okocha, Iwobi was destined to become a footballer. He was highly rated as a youngster at Arsenal and even scored a goal in the 2019 Europa League final. However, since then the upward trajectory of his career has leveled out.

He moved to Everton for over £30 million but his time there hasn’t worked out as planned. Everton has moved through several managers in the past couple of years and Iwobi hasn’t quite settled. New manager Sean Dyche kept hold of him in January despite rumors of a move to Turkey. It now remains to be seen whether the same will happen this summer, especially if Everton is playing football in the Championship come the Autumn.
The transfer window is always an unpredictable time for players, managers and fans alike. Fans can expect the summer months to be filled with stories and non-stories about players moving clubs and these three Nigerian stars could be in the thick of it.
