Popular Zimbabwean Pastor, Uebert Angel, has criticized members of his congregation who listened to the hit song “Pana” by Nigerian musician, Tekno.

“you said you like cassava, I get big cassava.”
When he made this statement, there was laughter in his church, which he attributed to Nigerians who understood the meaning of the song, while people from Zimbabwe sang it without knowing its meaning.
He added that even though the song was sung by those who didn’t understand its meaning, their spirits would still be affected by the words they sang.
