The police have arrested a 13-year-old boy accused of shooting a man on Easter Sunday. Jayden Gunsby was identified as a suspect in the shooting death of Davaris Lindsey, 20, on April 9. Cops found Lindsey with several gunshot wounds near McGregor and Colquitt streets in LaGrange, Georgia. Lindsey was transported to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, where he died.
An arrest warrant for Gunsby was issued on April 12. “This warrant charges Gunsby as an adult due to the offense being a murder charge,’ stated the LaGrange Police Department on Facebook at the time. Gunsby was taken into custody without incident at the police department around 11.15pm on Monday, April 24.
