Sensational Nigerian singer, BNXN formerly known as Buju has opened up about him winning the 2022 Headies Next Rated award. Recall that he outsmarted industry rival, Ruger and others to clinch the prestigious award and walked home with a brand new Bentley BENTAYGA SUV star prize. He said before the event, he bought himself a car as consolation should he lose out. The singer stated this in a recent interview with Hip TV.
BNXN said, “I was really stunned [winning a Bentley], mainly because I wasn’t expecting it. I thought it would take me a longer time to get a Bentley. I just got a car before that award show because I didn’t want to be pressured by losing the car [Bentley] or not. So, I had to buy another car separately to compensate myself.
“But when I won I was really stunned. Even when they shipped it and brought it to Lagos, it was another, ‘Wow! It’s right here.’
I was really excited.”
