IF Mr. Ufomba Emegharaide, a witch doctor, had known that the gods he kept and worshipped for more than 37 years could end up killing six out of his seven children, and got him scared of the community he grew up to know in Aba, Abia State, perhaps, he would have long shifted his loyalty to his newly found God of the universe under which he sought and got a refuge.
The witch doctor, when narrating his story in confirmation of the prophetic revelation by Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church for All Nations at a church service in Ikotun, Lagos, recently, concerning his encounter with the evil spirits explained how the constant cries of some of the spirits who were thirsty for blood, at night, caused him to flee from his village to the church in Lagos.
According to him, apart from the mysterious death of his children, he was frightened when his wife was kicked by two of the gods in a bathroom and she suddenly became disabled and unable to walk for the past four years.
In his own words: “I inherited four gods from my forefathers and I added three of my own to whome I offered sacrifices to every time there was need for it.”
“With the idols around me, I became so powerful in my community and I got a lot of patronage.” “In the house I built for the gods, there is a bed where people sleep in order to have contact with mammy water (mermaid). For such visitation, every willing visitor, according to Ufomba, must spend seven to 14 days in the room.
The witchdoctor, pointing to the house he built for the gods in his village
When asked for his mission in the Synagogue, the man looking ruffled, explained that the gods had become wicked and were a symbol of sorrow to him, as he was daily tormented.
For the past four years, the witch doctor, who came with his son to the Synagogue, confessed to not being able to open the door of the god’s house out of fear of suffering the same fate as his wife. Aside from this, going home, he said, had also become a taboo because of the fear that he could be harmed.
The evil house, according to the evangelists sent there to pray was filled with idols of various shapes, positioned on the tables placed at different end of the house. The walls, according to them, were painted with different images of mermaids, snakes and other satanic spirits.
Now delivered through the power of the holy spirit, the man with a sigh of relief, got up from his estactic fall and said, I now feel safe to go back to my village.” He has been instructed by the prophet to bring his converts back to God.

I am still wondering why people worship objects which they created themselves. I though this is the matter of the past time (stone age). See how funny it is, YOU INHERIT GODS FROM YOUR FOREFATHERS and merge them with your own and worship them together . So, according to such people, everyone may have his or god different with that of others in the community. It is good that he realize there is a supreme being to worship and to seek refuge from. This shows that God had began to light his way.
