No Man's Land: Lagos House of Assembly Set to Make Laws to Favour Only Indigenes Following

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has announced plans by the house to pass laws that will protect the interest of indigenes of the state.

DailyTrust reports that Obasa, who was elected speaker of the 10th Assembly for the third consecutive term, said as part of its legislative agenda, there would be laws and resolutions in the areas of economy and commerce, property and titles and reversal of “all that are reversible to protect the interest of the indigenes”

In an apparent reaction to some of the controversies in the build-up to the 2023 elections including the argument that non-indigenes wanted to take over the state, Obasa declared that Lagos is a Yoruba land.

“Lagos is Yoruba land as against the assertions of some people that it is a no man’s land. Therefore, part of our legislative agenda is to ensure the translation of laws passed by this House to the Yoruba language. We also aim at achieving our collective goals of creating a robust legislative framework that protects the interest of our people. Going forward in this wise, we are going to employ all legislative instruments for the support of the indigenes of Lagos. There would be laws and resolutions in the areas of economy and commerce, property and titles and we will reverse all that are reversible to protect the interest of the indigenes,” he was quoted as saying

As usual your bigoted and moronic brain will never allow you to reason objectively ............How come it was two weeks to Governorship elections that the issue of Lagos is a no mans land came up especially after they witnessed the massive vote against Tinubu during the Presidential elections?

Igbos are not even bothered and I love their attitude ...what goes around surely must come around eventually ...............who is a real indigene of Lagos among all of them misbehaving ?
They steal money and go abroad and buy properties and nobody bothers them but they come to Nigeria seeking relevance by promoting tribal politics because in actual fact they have nothing to offer.
May i remind us all that the people these people call non indigenes are not only the South Easterners .........anyone progressing in Lagos including Northerners , Middle belters and South- South people are classified as Igbos.

Yoruba's buy lands every where including in Igbo land and may i also educate you that the progressive and educated / exposed Yoruba's don't engage in this rubbish you are supporting, i work in oil and gas and I know countless yoruba's who own properties in South / South and South East regions; some are even married to South-South or South Easterners......
