Remove The Mechanic There & Appoint Ngozi Okonjo Iweala as CBN Governor- Adeyanju Tells Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has been tasked to appoint the World Trade Organization, WTO, Director General, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, as the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Governor.

Deji Adeyanju, a sociopolitical activist, called while urging Tinubu to sack the acting CBN Governor, Folashodun Shonubi.

Adeyanju said Tinubu should appoint a serious-minded, experienced economist to head the CBN.

Adeyanju disclosed this in his X, formerly Twitter handle, on Wednesday.

According to Adeyanju: “Dear President @officialABAT,

“Remove the mechanic in charge of CBN and appoint an experienced economist with international experience in the financial sector like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

“Someone serious-minded countries & development partners will listen to”, wrote.

Any  Nigerian who can think straight will know that it is the fulanis and some Hausaas that rule Nigeria, no matter who is the president or what tribe the President comes from.
