Oluwaseyitan Aletile, professionally known as Seyi Law, a famous Nigerian comedian, has asked record label owners in the country to stop risking the lives and careers of signees who opt out of their institutions.
Some music executives, he claimed, guaranteed that artists who left their record labels would never be noticed.
He also accused record label executives of pressuring their signees to engage in illegal activities.
The comedian made the charges against the backdrop of former Marlian Music signee Mohbad’s untimely death on Tuesday, just a year after his contentious divorce from the Naira Marley-owned record label.
On his X handle, Seyi Law wrote,
