Nigerian superstar Davido has opened up about how deeply affected he has been by the recent death of fellow artist Mohbad.
In an emotional Instagram post, Davido confessed he has struggled with insomnia ever since Mohbad’s untimely passing last month at age 27.
“Mohbad your spirit is strong ooo… sleep come hard me” Davido wrote, demonstrating how heavily the tragedy has weighed on his mind.
He went on to say he will be attending Mohbad’s upcoming candlelight tribute and procession to honor the late rapper.
Davido’s admission underscores the somber mood that has permeated Nigeria’s music community in the wake of rising star Mohbad’s decline and demise.
