Goal Scorer:

Arsenal City
While Arsenal ended their Goodison Park hoodoo last weekend, the curse still claimed one victim in Martinelli, whose nightmare afternoon saw him have a goal ruled out for a highly controversial offside before coming off with a hamstring problem, which he sustained while running through to fire home.

The Brazilian sat out the win over PSV, although Arteta refused to rule out his return for the visit of Tottenham, where none of Thomas Partey (groin), Mohamed Elneny (knee) and Jurrien Timber (knee) will be at the Spaniard's disposal.

Surely saving the bulk of his rotations for next week's EFL Cup clash with Brentford, Arteta will likely keep faith with most if not all of the starters from Wednesday night, meaning a third consecutive run-out in goal for David Raya amid his fascinating head-to-head with Aaron Ramsdale.
Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Rice, Vieira; Saka, Jesus, Trossard

Tottenham
A fresh injury to a left-sided attacker also reared its ugly head for Tottenham this week, and a much more severe one than Martinelli's, as Ivan Perisic was confirmed to have sustained a "complex" ACL injury in training and would soon be going under the knife.

Perisic will spend months recovering from the procedure, which could potentially mark the end of his Spurs career, and he joins Bryan Gil (groin), Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Alfie Whiteman (ankle) on the visitors' list of surgical victims, while Giovani Lo Celso's thigh injury renders him unavailable too.

Having capped off a troubled week by making himself a Lilywhites hero, Richarlison has made his case to return to the first XI at the Emirates ahead of Manor Solomon, while Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie and Micky van de Ven will all make their North London debuts at the back.
Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Richarlison
Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur
