The Lead pastor at The Transforming Church, Reverend Sam Oye, has explained that the worst thing some women did to themselves was getting married. He said some unmarried people are better off than those that are married. The married pastor added that for many married people, their smile hides their pain. He then rubbished the notion that women who are no longer with their husbands will not raise their children right.
He said: "I've seen single women raise healthier children than children with fathers who are present." Just yesterday, actor Ime Bishop Umoh, better known as Okon Lagos, advised mothers to raise their sons as well as they raise their daughters. He then added that such is hardly attainable as a single parent.
