VIDEO: Netizen Reveals Reason For Wizkid’s Recent Tattooing Spree

Wizkid recently drew attention on the internet for adorning himself with a new tattoo, prominently displayed on his neck. However, it seems the Grammy-award winning star didn’t stop there, as video evidence now reveals a new tattoo on his legs/thighs.

While Nigerians celebrate their favorite artist’s inked additions and the recent public appearances of the usually private superstar, a concerned netizen raised questions about the artist’s well-being.

Linking Wizkid’s tattooing spree to the recent death of his mother, the netizen suggested that what might appear as a mere lifestyle choice to Nigerians could be a way for the artist to cope with the loss. He expressed, “All these things we go dey look am as lifestyle but him fit dey do am to get him mind off the loss of him mama.”

Wizkid’s mother was recently laid to rest, and the artist has been visibly emotional, shedding tears in public and delivering a heartfelt speech at her funeral.
