The saying that fashion is pain isn’t far-fetched as daily, celebrities are showing us the struggles they go through trying to make headlines with their fashion statement and to become the cynosure of all eyes.

Nollywood actress, Olaide Oyedeji is the latest celebrity to give us a glimpse of her fashion struggle as she attended the premiere of Toyin Abraham’s new movie, Malaika.

In a video she posted on her Instagram page, Olaide was seen struggling to enter a car with her headgear (gele), which mustn’t get ruined. The movie star kept saying in the video, how her stylist cautioned her to be mindful of the headgear. As such, Olaide had to call for assistance as she struggled to enter the car.

Captioning the video, she stated that the struggle to be the best glammed is real.

Nkechi Blessing, had a similar experience days back as she attended Mercy Aigbe’s movie premiere, Ada Omo Daddy.

Nkechi Blessing shared her experience with high-fashion discomfort, specifically speaking on the challenges of wearing a corset dress.

She disclosed her discomfort and difficulty in breathing while wearing a corset dress worth 1.5 million Naira, as she vowed to avoid corsets in the future.

In a video that made rounds, Nkechi was seen struggling to get into a car in her tight-fitted dress. The corset she wore underneath her dress, made it harder for the movie star to freely move herself.

Similarly, Skitmaker and social media influencer Amarachi Amusi, popularly known as Ashmusy, was also captured struggling to breathe over a tight outfit.

The beautiful influencer was captured in a viral social media clip trying to board a car uncomfortably.

Just two months back, Toyin Abraham had trended online after she showed up at an event wearing an outfit made of a tight-fitting corset that made it uneasy for her to move around freely.

The wife of Kolawole Ajeyemi was seen struggling to breathe as she posed for the camera and mingled with her colleagues.

Poking fun at herself, Toyin admitted that she couldn’t breathe as she quoted the popular phrase, ‘fashion is pain’, to defend her reason for the outfit.

It was a deliberate attention-seeking stunt. See her left nipple almost popping out. Nonsense.
