Singer Spyro has responded after he was criticized on social media for performing at a church program.
The Harvesters International Christian Center HICC church had a Christmas-themed event over the weekend and Spyro gave a performance of his hit song Only Fine Girl. This did not go down well with a number of Nigerians and they have taken to social media to criticize him. Read here.
In a video shared on Instagram, the singer in his response said he is a member of the Harvesters International Christian Center and also a worker in the church. He said he partook in the church’s Christmas Carol service and performed his song, Only Fine Girl, as part of a drama presentation.
Spyro said anyone who knows him knows he worships in the church and that all his songs are clean and represent Christ.
