The Ondo State Government has revealed the cause of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s death.

The state government also announced that the governor died in Germany on Wednesday, December 27 2023, aged 67.

Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, in a statement issued on Wednesday, explained how the governor died.

He said; “Akeredolu answered the eternal call while receiving medical treatment in Germany. He succumbed to complications arising from protracted prostate cancer.

“The family and the state government will release further details regarding his funeral arrangements.

Na lie. He was poisoned by a Yoruba woman. She gave him poisoned Yoruba herbal medicine popularly called AGBO. Our sister Betty his wife  did raise alarm..

No shame in death.....everyone will go at a point in time but why the lies? Leukemia killed him but he had prostate cancer...that was secondary and he died in Lagos, because he was too fragile to be flown to Germany and they were busy looking for dialysis machine! The question is, when he was yet to be declared cancer free, why did he come back from Germany knowing that his state will forever foot the bills?/// Yet another lesson the power brokers will ignore. Most of them are sick and couldn't trust anyone with their loot!
