One of the inmates revealed that “ everything we do here is money.. We pay money to sleep, we pay money to bath, we pay money to use the toilet, we pay money to eat.
Infact to sit we also pay money..
Togolese Government is making money from the prisoners most especially Nigerians and our exchange rate is killing..
We Nigerians in Togo needs Nigerian Government intervention. THE EMBASSY IS NOT WORKING !”
