It doesnt speak well of a man to b off sleeping when his wife is in pain! It really doesnt! It shows lack of consideration, feelings (for the pain she is going thru) and disregard! To top it off, it looks like the man is not even anxious to see his baby, his flesh + blood

I think a lot of men like to believe that the more macho or the less they show emotions the more of a man they become. you will be at a bar/club while your wife is giving birth to your child?... I hope you were joking, she might as well be married to a log of wood.
