Was he taking a nap when going through the exercise of impregnating her? Yes, the doctors and nurses are paid to ensure her safe delivery but the presence of a loved-one goes a long way in strengthening the woman in labour. Do you know the magnitude of pains women go through in labour especially in a country like Nigeria where there are obsolete medical facilities? A whole lot of women die during labour for crying out loud! How many more nights of napping would he have had the woman die? It's understandable if the man is not around @ all than for him to be around at some point & leave for home to do what?...take a nap!...so disgusting!

Witnessing your wife during labour would always bring more love, sympathy and respect to her. A woman in labour is between life and death.
[/b][/color] pls tell them so it really doesnt matter if she dies there the most important thing is that they sleep all this people talking dont have children they are talking ignorANTLY cos when you expect a child for nine month and the d day is there i am not sure you will be sleeping thats heartless YOU THINK SO? i noe so! I subscribe to it self! I believe in it so much that I may yet make a religion out of it Posted: at 4-02-2011 01:56 PM (13 years ago) | Gistmaniac

mazi! he committed big crime o lol....by impregnating her?for going to nap Bbes i agree with yu! It doesnt speak well of a man to b off sleeping when his wife is in pain! It really doesnt! It shows lack of consideration, feelings (for the pain she is going thru) and disregard! To top it off, it looks like the man is not even anxious to see his baby, his flesh + blood Well said !thx hun Posted: at 4-02-2011 01:57 PM (13 years ago) | Gistmaniac

If it was easy delivery, the woman will b in labout for a few hours definitely more than a day. In which case, the hubby really shudnt b complaining yet. So the fact that the man was tired already prbly meant that the woman has been in labour for long and it wasnt easy! and for the in-law to b around again probably reinforce that argument. tired/ not, for a man to leave his wife n go home is cruel! I am not saying he shud b in the delivery room with her (not many men have that much liver) but he shud stick around. Posted: at 4-02-2011 02:08 PM (13 years ago) | Gistmaniac

Listen dear, what will be will be, no matter what but what we are saying is a loved one being around alleviates the pains...why are people encouraged to spend more time with their loved ones who have terminal illnesses? Is it not to give them courage in the face of imminent death? I have seen a man who went home to sleep while his wife was in labour, yes, the man did that and guess what? He has another wife in the same home whom he went to sleep with...it is men like that - who feel they have options that would want to do all the sleeping while the woman is in pains....who needs a mother-in-law when I can have my husband? Na my mother-in-law give me belle? Posted: at 4-02-2011 02:12 PM (13 years ago) | Gistmaniac
