Poster this your case need special treatment, I know how you feel about this, But most times i wonder why people in Love will separate and will never talk it over to settle the matter, the next thing you will hear is, One is married to another, We always loose what we have, simply because we don't value it in the first place.

Too sad to hear the little details of what happened, I don't want to blame you, but if i may, I would ask why you didn't even call him all those while if you truly Love him that much, 2008 till 2011 roughly 4yrs, Why would your parents wouldn't allow you contact the man you Love, Are you still under-age or what, even some Underage girls will still keep in touch, no matter what.  While he was away to Nigeria, were you still single waiting for him all those time ? because this is another thing that could make you forget or think less of him.
