Unknown gunmen, on Thursday, attacked several banks in the busy town of Aiyingba, Kogi State.
According to a now viral video, residents and motorists were seen running for safety as gunshots rented the air.
Security personnel were also seen exchanging gunfire with the armed robbers.
It was gathered that the affected banks include First Bank, Union Bank and Access Bank.
The number of casualties could not be ascertained as at the time of writing this report.
