Renowned American rapper and entrepreneur, 50 Cent, has been embroiled in controversy after his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Daphne Joy, accused him of rape and assault.

The allegations surfaced amid reports that 50 Cent was seeking sole custody of their son, Sire, following Joy's involvement in a lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs. The lawsuit, filed by Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, accuses Diddy of sex trafficking and abuse.

In a detailed Instagram post, Joy called out 50 Cent for being an absentee father and accused him of segxwally assaulting and physically abusing her during their relationship.

"We moved to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son and you saw him 10 times out of the 2 years that we lived 1 mile away from you. I am tired of upholding and protecting an image to our son that you have never even earned," Joy expressed in her post.

She further condemned 50 Cent's actions, stating, "Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of molesting me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on. You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false slams made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time."

However, 50 Cent swiftly denied Joy's allegations through a statement issued by his representative. He refuted the claims, asserting that Joy's accusations were a response to his decision to seek sole custody of their 12-year-old son, Sire.

"The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son, Sire, is my main priority, and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time," the statement clarified.

50 Cent emphasized that his motive for seeking sole custody was to safeguard his son, especially given the implications of Lil Rod's lawsuit against Diddy, which implicated Joy.
