VIDEO: Nobody Talks Down On African Women More Than African Musicians Says Seun Kuti

Afrobeats star, Seun Kuti has opined that African women are mostly disrespected by African artists.

He noted this while speaking in a recent online video where he was addressing his fans.

According to him, nobody in the world talks down on African women like the African musicians.

He pointed out that such Africans extend to African-Americans who choose to identify only as Americans.

Seun listed out various disrespectful lines that these African musicians usually infuse in their songs which tends to give other listeners a wrong impression about African women.

This clearly reflects the reality in Africa when women are despised and disrespected in both speech and behavior. Musicians are influential people who need to speak up to protect fairness for them, but the reality is the opposite.
