Did you help the dying lady or not? Whoever says that you will lose your children is a lunatic, how did they even get into this conversation? even you, will not die, but please say the truth, did you help when it was needed? We tend to be very busy, stingy or less concerned when we could help, and then regret when it is late. If that was what happened, then change for the better !
