Poster, to my understanding of your post, are you saying  the BIG crowd you described was a paid crowd??
If it so as you claimed,so much is spent on the rally.
You had two story you tried to tell but for me, none is CLEAR.
Are you also saying JONATHAN is a hated PRESUDENT to be??
Try again please with due respect.
Politice should be above this, say something else.

i really do not understand why pple should support this man, he has had the oppourtunity to rule for 9 mounth now, and he has not initiated the transformation he has been shouting about, instead he condemed the performing governors by calling them rascals.
If he is really our God sent president, 9 mounth is enough for him to prove it. Or what do you think.

no matter how good you are or what goods you do, not everybody would like you...I'm not surprise at your comment..
Are you saying he has not done anything in 9months & his quest for for years to totally change Nigeria is not worth considering?

@reg001

Are you the campaign manager for this president? That general security of the country has not improved since he assumed power is self-evident,  to the extent that his police were firing indiscriminately as to cause a stampede. The Egpytians and the Tunisians have set a trail blazer for Nigeria and we should do away with inepth governments.

Not to detract from the sad event, but I believe a score is 20. only 12 people have been confirmed dead. Why has Naijapals put up such a misleading title??

You call 12 deaths only? Where is your sense of proportion? That people who came to render their support for the president were so treated is an indictment of inepth leadership

Is this to say that it has not been reported in the national media? Or has it been hushed up? What a way to lead people!

is this some kind of joke or tale? it is only in Nigeria that d lives of people are treated like that of chicken!. there is virtually nothing held in Nigeria without bloodshed. 1st, it is said to be a rally not a protest, y the sporadic shooting? 2ndly, there is no respect for the president atall if such "crime" can be committed in his presence(unless he ordered it) and lastly, this is an embarrassment to the entire nation. i suggest we emulate d egyptians....

My dear seungbadebo, I don't know what to say again to contribution more ideas to our people, because you have said it all. All i could say is that i support your ideas. If all Men should listen into your directive ideas written in your comment, i think we all should learn that sporadic shooting wasn't a good answer or rally as the name may be called. Can't we all learn about the American way of rallies by dialogs instead of bloodshed. It is very shameful to hear such story from a rally that involved the present of Nigerians number one citizen. I'm sometimes afraid to return back home because of this common killing and crimes in Nigeria. Lets us join hands to emulate one good life and stop embarrassment ourselves with mess killing and shooting.

it was quit surprising to me to hear/see from CNN the pathetic news of stampede in portharcourt
and the news did mention that it happened in fore front of the president during his rally
it was so rediculous and a  big shame to  the nation , the world is out watching  what has being going on in nigeria
how can a police man shot in air during such moment that thousands of pple  has gathered ..'?
the police must be queeried/sactioned  so other,s will learn the gravity of inhuman  to his act
