Dr. Farah Dagogo, a former member of the National Assembly, has voiced his concerns over the drastic depreciation of the Nigerian currency, stating, "The value of ₦40,000 in 2015 is equivalent to over ₦500,000 in today’s Nigeria."

Dagogo urged the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, to implement effective economic policies to alleviate the widespread suffering and hardships faced by the majority of Nigerians. He described the current living standards and economic conditions as "grim," warning that all indicators suggest "further pains for the citizenry."

The former lawmaker's remarks underscore the urgent need for comprehensive economic reforms to address the escalating cost of living and restore stability to the nation's economy.
