President Bola Tinubu has issued a stern warning to the terrorists responsible for the recent bomb attack in Borno State, vowing that they will face severe consequences for their actions.
Condemning the attack, which claimed lives and injured several others in Gwoza Local Government Area, President Tinubu described the incident as a desperate act of terror. He highlighted that the assault is a clear indication of the pressure exerted on terrorists and the significant progress made in diminishing their ability to carry out such attacks.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu assured the nation that those who perpetrate violence will encounter justice. "Our administration will not allow the nation to descend into an era of fear, tears, sorrow, and blood,” the president declared.
The statement further emphasized that the government is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of its citizens. "Efforts will be redoubled to ensure that those who disrupt law and order, causing the loss of precious lives, are completely eradicated,” it read.
President Tinubu's firm stance reflects his commitment to maintaining national security and preventing further acts of terror. The administration's resolve to bring perpetrators to justice aims to restore peace and stability in the region, reinforcing the government's dedication to safeguarding its citizens.
