Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has written a touching note to veteran actor Olu Jacobs, following false rumors of Jacobs’ death that circulated on social media.
On Sunday, June 30, 2024, rumors of the veteran actor’s passing began to spread, causing concern among fans and the film community. However, the actor’s family quickly debunked the news, sharing a video of Olu Jacobs receiving a haircut, clearly showing he is in good health.
Yul Edochie took to Instagram to express his admiration and well-wishes for Olu Jacobs, praying for his continued life, good health, joy, happiness, and blessings. He described the veteran as one of Africa’s greatest actors and shared how much he has learned from working with him.
“More life to you, Uncle @_olujacobs,” Edochie wrote. “You remain one of the greatest actors on the continent of Africa. I learned so much from you while working with you on set. You are loved, respected, and appreciated. May God give you more life, good health, joy, happiness, and blessings. It would be a dream come true to have you on set again. Amen.”
