Renowned Nigerian activist Verydarkman, also known as Martin Otse, recently released evidence against Linus Williams, a prominent bitcoin dealer widely known as Blord. This revelation followed Blord's arrest by the Nigerian Police Force in Abuja on Tuesday, July 16.
Blord was detained on serious charges, including financing terrorist activities, enabling internet fraud, and committing cryptocurrency fraud. Verydarkman, who had earlier claimed to have orchestrated the viral arrest, revealed multiple grievances against the Bitcoin entrepreneur.
Among these grievances, one detailed an incident from 2021 in which Blord allegedly defrauded his own brother of approximately 1.5 million BTC. Another accusation involved Blord using a fake account to deceive his online customers. The unfolding of these events has garnered significant attention and concern within the cryptocurrency and activist communities.
