The Zamfara State Government has reported that it has not yet received the 20 trucks of rice that were allocated by the Federal Government. This announcement was made by Comrade Nuhu Salisu Anka, the Director General of Media and Communication to the State Governor, during a telephone interview with journalists on Saturday.
Anka noted that the Federal Government had previously communicated that the rice consignments had been dispatched to various state governments. However, he confirmed that Zamfara State has not received its designated share.
“The 20 trucks of rice, which were sanctioned by the Federal Government for Zamfara State, have not arrived as expected,” Anka said. He assured that once the rice allocation reaches the state, he will promptly inform the media.
