Josh Oyinsan a Nigerian and his partner, Mimi, have made history as the first-ever Black winners of Love Island UK.
The show which is currently on it’s 11th season has in the past had black players who made it to the finals, but never had the opportunity to clinch the winning prize. Josh and Mimi walk away with a combined cash prize of £50,000.
This significant achievement marks a milestone for the popular reality TV show
Their victory is celebrated by fans and serves as an inspiration to many.
