Popular social media influencer Caramel Plugg has been accused of failing to repay $1,600 for accommodation by her former close friend, who has taken to TikTok to expose the alleged debt.
The accuser, known online as @classicbijou, revealed her grievances in a series of posts, presenting receipts to support her claims. She shared details of hosting Caramel Plugg during her recent visit to Canada, where the influencer reportedly stayed for three days.
According to the accuser, she covered the cost of Caramel Plugg’s stay, but tensions arose towards the end of the visit. The influencer allegedly caused a dispute to avoid settling the debt.
In her TikTok post, the ex-friend stated, "Doing my skincare routine because life didn't end when I paid $1,600 to accommodate Caramel Plugg in Toronto for three days. She doesn’t have a house in Canada. On the last day of her stay, she decided to pick a fight to avoid paying me."
The accuser further claimed, "Some of these so-called influencers can’t handle real situations. She even tried to use the money I spent on her to argue that she shouldn’t pay. I was covering her expenses while she was here, but she decided to create drama to escape the debt."
The revelation also challenged previous claims about Caramel Plugg's residency in Canada, asserting that she did not own property there as suggested by some of her online content.
The situation has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many reacting to the unfolding drama between the influencer and her former friend.
