Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate, has made a mediating effort to resolve the long-standing family feud between the Okoye brothers, Peter, Paul, and Jude
The brothers, who were once the popular music group P-Square, have been embroiled in a publicized dispute, leading to a split.
Peter Obi’s visit to Peter Okoye follows his earlier meeting with Paul and Jude Okoye, as he attempts to broker peace among the siblings.
The feud between the brothers began in 2017, with disagreements over business and personal issues, including allegations of mismanagement and betrayal.
The conflict escalated in 2022, with Peter and Paul engaging in a public war of words on social media, leading to the eventual split of P-Square. Jude, their older brother and former manager, has also been involved in the dispute.
Peter Obi’s intervention aims to resolve the family conflict and potentially pave the way for a reunion of the musical group.
However, the outcome of his mediating efforts remains to be seen.
