The 20 kidnapped medical students in Benue State have been rescued.
The operation, coordinated by the National Security Adviser, involved a collaboration between various security agencies, including the Nigerian police, the Department of State Services (DSS), and military personnel, with support from the Benue state government.
Helicopters were deployed by the police to aid in the rescue mission, which ultimately led to the safe recovery of the students.
Recall that on August 16, gunmen abducted over 20 medical and dental students and a house officer in Benue State.
