Dola Indidis, a Kenyan lawyer, made headlines when he filed a lawsuit against the governments of Israel and Italy, holding them responsible for the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. Indidis argued that the execution of Jesus was unlawful, asserting that Pontius Pilate's authorization of the act made it illegal.
