A man was attacked by suspected motorcycle-riding thieves on the bustling Adeniran Ogunsanya Road in Surulere, Lagos State, on Friday, September 6. The incident, which shocked onlookers, occurred in broad daylight on one of the city's busiest streets.
Eyewitnesses reported that two armed men on a motorcycle targeted the victim, shooting him before stealing his necklace. The attackers swiftly fled the scene, leaving the man bleeding and in critical condition.
An X (formerly Twitter) user who witnessed the robbery shared details of the violent incident online, expressing concern over the man’s condition. Another bystander confirmed that the victim was quickly rushed to the hospital, adding that they hoped he would survive the attack.
