The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a public alert, cautioning Nigerians about the alleged misuse of its name by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin and his organization. According to NAFDAC, the ministry is falsely claiming that products like "Miracle Water" and "Miracle Soap" are certified by the agency.
In a statement, NAFDAC clarified that none of these products have been registered or approved by the agency. The warning follows multiple petitions from concerned citizens, leading to an investigation that revealed the products are being promoted with unverified healing claims.
NAFDAC is advising the public to be vigilant and refrain from purchasing the unapproved products, as their safety and effectiveness remain unconfirmed. The agency also emphasized its commitment to ensuring public safety and urged citizens to be wary of misleading endorsements.
