A young lady was recently rescued in a hotel in Abuja after she was found tied up by a man suspected of attempting to use her for ritual purposes.
The incident occurred at a popular hotel in Wuse Zone 5. The hotel staff responded to her screams and discovered her with her hands, legs, and neck tied together with tape. The man who was with her was caught trying to remove the tape when confronted by the hotel staff
In a related case, a female student was allegedly strangled to death in a hotel by a suspected ritualist.
This incident also raised concerns about hotel safety and the lack of proper documentation for guests. The suspects involved were reportedly released by the police, leading to suspicions of an attempt to cover up the matter.
