Famous Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has sharply criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), calling it the "most dangerous institution in Nigeria" during the ongoing gubernatorial election in Edo State.

In a series of posts shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, Davido urged Edo residents to closely monitor their votes from polling units to the state collation center, expressing distrust in INEC’s promise to transmit results electronically.

Quote
“We already know that @inecnigeria will not transmit results electronically, so everyone should be ready to follow the vote/result from the polling unit up until the state collation centre,”
Davido posted.

He further warned that winning an election and being declared the winner are two different matters, urging vigilance.
Quote
“Winning is one thing. Being declared a winner is another thing! From 7 p.m., make una go dey mount collation center!! #EdoDecide2024,"
he added.

Davido's remarks reflect growing concerns over electoral transparency in Nigeria, particularly during critical state elections.

Shut Up Davido. Did you say this about INEC in Osun State when your dancing Uncle Demola Adekeke emetmrged as the governor?
When a team is criticising or rejecting a referee before the kick off. Such a team is a potential loser.
I'll advise you Shut up and keep to your Afrobeat.
Was it not the same INEC that organised Osun State election, where you're dancing to the market??? Or are you indirectly telling us that your dad Deji Adeleke paid them huge some of money for your uncle to win in Osun??
The sun doesn't shine up you or your preferred candidate's asses all the time.
Then, shut up Davido.
