
Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has publicly addressed Hadiza El-Rufai, the ex-First Lady of Kaduna State, following her critique of his recent comments about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Sani expressed concerns regarding the economic impact of President Tinubu's international travels, stating, "New law of economics; When the President travels out, taxes and prices go up." His remark suggested that the President's absences could lead to increases in taxes and commodity prices.
Mrs. El-Rufai, known for her keen attention to grammar and language on social media, responded to Sani's post by pointing out a grammatical error. She asserted that the statement should read "go up" instead of "goes up," emphasizing the importance of proper English usage.
In his response, Sani referred to El-Rufai affectionately as "mummy" while expressing his desire for her to refrain from engaging with him online. He quipped,
