A Nigerian businessman has shared an emotional farewell to his family on social media, following a devastating robbery that wiped out his store's inventory, valued at ₦70 million. In a series of tearful TikTok videos, the distraught man is seen breaking down, voicing his anguish and struggle to find a path forward.
One poignant post carries a heartfelt message directed at his family. “To my wife, I love you so much. To my kids, I want the best life for you. Depression is real, and I hope to find peace now. I have tried my best but see no way forward,” the caption reads.
In a separate post, he recounted the robbery details, expressing anger toward a security guard who, he claims, failed to intervene. “As a security guard, you witnessed the robbers and did nothing while they rolled out my safe box containing goods worth over ₦70 million. Only after they carried it away did you call for help,” he wrote.
The businessman’s posts quickly garnered widespread sympathy, with concerned viewers flooding the comment section to offer their support and encouragement during his challenging time.
