to the best of my knowledge it is 3months because women don't get their menstration immediately after delivery. it starts from 3,4 months upward and that will enable them calculate their safe and unsafe time and it will also enable more time 4d body to heal completely and the virgina to close back a little bit expecially when there is additional tear.
