Okonkwo Ikechukwu, known widely as Cross from Big Brother Naija, has revealed a profound change in his spiritual journey, declaring his newfound dedication to Christianity. In a deeply personal post on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) this past Saturday, Cross shared that he has been "arrested by God" and is now fully committed to living for Jesus Christ.
Cross, who gained popularity during the BBNaija: Shine Ya Eye season in 2021 and returned for the 2023 All Stars edition where he finished as fifth runner-up, opened up about his transformation, sharing that he now feels a divine mission to spread God’s word and fulfill a higher calling.
“I have been arrested by God,” Cross wrote. “Moving forward, I belong to Jesus Christ, who is the Savior of the world. He has called me to do His work and build His Kingdom. A lot of revival is happening right now on earth, and He wants us as His children to join His agenda. All you need to do is call on Him and truly believe that He is your Lord and Savior. And He will answer.”
In his message, the reality TV star also committed to using his platform, including his loyal fanbase, CrossNation, to represent God’s love and grace. “My life and CrossNation will represent Him and His glory from today till the end of time,” he affirmed, adding, “For God is Love and Love is God.”
The post has sparked a wave of support from fans, with many applauding Cross’s courage to openly embrace and share his faith.
