The private residence of the Minister of State Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mariya Mahmoud was reportedly gutted by fire.
The fire incident happened on Sunday afternoon at Mahmoud’s house located at No. 9, Justice Roseline Ukeji Close, Asokoro.
Media aide to the Minister, Austine Elemue, who confirmed the development to PM news, said the house was completely razed, and nothing could be salvaged from the ruins.
Elemue said firefighters were slow to respond to the development, and the cause of the fire had yet to be ascertained.
