Ex-BBNaija housemate, Ka3na has sparked reactions over her opinion on people using OPay accounts.

The reality TV star wrote: “Soon as you send me an OPAY account, I start viewing you differently!”

Her statement perpetuated the harmful stereotype that OPay users are inferior or impoverished, leading to widespread criticism.

Nigerians took to social media to condemn Ka3na’s comment, labeling it elitist, classist, and derogatory. Many argued that her statement reinforces harmful stereotypes about financial status and downgrades peers who use OPay.
