Ex-BBNaija housemate and actress, Vee has spoken against the criticism fashion designer, Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere have been receiving following their participation in the trending ‘suspect challenge‘.
The ‘suspect challenge,’ which involves sharing playful and often exaggerated accounts about significant others, has gained traction on social media.
However, Veekee James and her husband’s version sparked mixed reactions, with some accusing her of oversharing.
In a TikTok video, Vee addressed the controversy, acknowledging that while the content might not suit her personal preferences, she respected Veekee’s decision to engage with her audience creatively.
Vee urged netizens to approach such content with an open mind while respecting individual creative expressions.

“When I first saw this suspect challenge, I knew it’d be a problem because not everyone can take opinions very well and also because I’ve always seen social media as a double-edged sword. You can control the content you put out there but you cannot control the opinions that would come out of the content you create.”
