Davido recently revealed that there are threats to cancel his Lagos show scheduled for December 24, 2024, due to backlash from comments he made during a U.S. interview when he appeared on The Big Homies House podcast

Recall that the singer has received heat from some Nigerians after going on the interview to stake the Nigerian economy is in shamble, and discouraging Nigerians in the diaspora from relocating back to the west African country.

This guy has bitten more than what he could chew.
No one is saying the country's economy is the best. Bit you have to be very diplomatic in your interviews.
Those people asking you these questions only wanted you to make your country look smaller than America.
Let see if you can take your music and live in USA. In few years, they'll make you dump Afrobeats for RnB.
If Nigeria economy is in shambles.  How come your dad have no single business in the country and yet he's a billionaire with two private jets.
