Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has spoken about how artistes sleep in front of his gate while begging for a feature.
In a resurfaced interview, Wizkid recalled how numerous artists would wait outside his home, waiting to collaborate with him.
As one of the most prominent musicians to emerge from Nigeria, Wizkid has consistently supported fellow artists throughout his career.
Since gaining widespread recognition in 2010, Wizkid has collaborated with a diverse range of musicians, including Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay, and Olamide.
Despite his generosity, Wizkid revealed that many artists tend to forget his contributions to their careers.
Wizkid also shared a specific instance where he offered a 10% discount to a female singer for a collaboration. He noted that despite his kindness, many artists fail to show appreciation for his support.
